I used the GameSir G7 SE on PC. It feels lightweight in the hands, and the grip is comfortable during longer sessions. The layout feels familiar, and the buttons are easy to press without strain.
Installing the GameSir Nexus software from the Microsoft Store adds useful customization. You can remap nearly every button, adjust stick ranges, swap the D-pad with the left stick, fine-tune trigger response including hair trigger mode, and control vibration levels. The software gives flexibility depending on the type of game you are playing.
The two rear buttons are helpful, though having additional back buttons would provide more options. A wireless version would also have been welcome, along with extra features such as turbo or macro support.
There is a lock feature for the back buttons. It appears to be intended to prevent accidental presses, though its purpose may not be immediately clear without reading the instructions.
