About the Game
The story begins when the King of All Cosmos accidentally crushes the Earth, Moon, and planets while fiddling with a peculiar scroll. Now, it’s up to you to restore the stars to the sky. As The Prince (or one of his many cousins), you will roll your katamari through various historical eras, gathering objects to rebuild the celestial bodies and fix the King’s mistake in a story that spans both past and present.
Gameplay Features
- A New Katamari Adventure: Experience a fresh rolling adventure with new stages and a fabulous new soundtrack. This entry also introduces new support tools, like a magnet to help draw in nearby objects.
- Roll Through the Ages: Travel through different time periods on your quest to rebuild the sky. The game features stages set in the Jurassic Era, the Ice Age, historic Japan, and more.
- Cousin Customization: Play as The Prince or choose from his 68 cousins and kin. You can customize their colors and faces to create unique character designs.
- 4-Player KatamariBall: Compete in “KatamariBall,” a galactic sport where you can challenge cousins from around the world in online multiplayer or play offline against CPU opponents.
