Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a new, dimension-hopping kart racer from developer Sonic Team and publisher SEGA. This title expands the race across land, sea, air, and space by introducing “Travel Rings” that warp players into entirely new dimensions mid-race, making every lap unpredictable.

About the Game
In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the core of the experience is the new “CrossWorlds” mechanic. While racing across 24 unique tracks, players can drive through Travel Rings that transport them to one of 15 different dimensions, changing the landscape of the race in real-time. Players can choose from the largest roster in any Sonic racing game and build the ultimate vehicle to match their playstyle by unlocking a huge variety of gadgets and parts. You can speed to victory solo, team up with friends in local split-screen, or compete against up to 12 players online.
Gameplay Features
- Dimensional Racing: Race across 24 tracks and use “Travel Rings” to warp between 15 different “CrossWorlds,” a unique mechanic that changes the track and keeps the race unpredictable.
- Massive Roster of Racers: Choose from 23 iconic characters from the Sonic universe, the largest roster in any Sonic racing game to date.
- Deep Vehicle Customization: Mix and match 45 unique vehicles and 70 different gadgets to customize your ride, level up your kart, and create the ultimate racing machine.
- Multiple Ways to Play: Compete solo in Time Trials, gather friends for local split-screen in Grand Prix and the “Race Park” party mode, or race against up to 12 players online in World Match.
