About the Game
In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, players race through twisting, unpredictable dimensions. The game blends arcade-style mechanics with customizable loadouts, team-based gameplay, and a story that includes cameos from the SEGA universe.
A key feature allows players to alter the terrain mid-race by warping through “Travel Rings,” changing the track’s layout dynamically. The game includes power-ups to use against rivals and supports both solo and co-op race modes.
Gameplay Features
Dimensional Track Warping – Players can use “Travel Rings” to jump between zones, which alters the terrain in real time.
Character Roster – The game includes a roster of 23 characters from the Sonic universe, with more planned for future DLC packs.
Kart Customization – A system allows for mixing and matching 45 different vehicles and 70 gadgets.
Multiplayer Modes – The game supports 12-player online matches and a local split-screen “Race Park” mode.
Power-Up Variety – There are 23 different items and gadgets available during races, including a Monster Truck power-up.
