Digimon Story Time Stranger is a new monster-taming RPG from developer Media.Vision Inc. and publisher BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment. This JRPG adventure explores the deep bond between humans and Digimon through a story that spans both the real and Digital Worlds. About the Game
Digimon Story Time Stranger tells an epic story that begins in Tokyo just before a city-leveling explosion, which sends the protagonist eight years into the past. Your mission is to unravel the mystery of the world’s collapse by journeying between the human world and the Digital World of Iliad. The narrative focuses on connection, with chance encounters shaping a journey across time and parallel worlds in an effort to change fate itself.
Gameplay Features
- Creature Collecting & Training: Collect, raise, and customize over 450 different Digimon, each with unique abilities and digivolution paths.
- Strategic Turn-Based Battles: Engage in dynamic, turn-based combat that combines strategic elements with evolved battle components to test the bonds you’ve formed with your Digimon team.
- Dual World Exploration: Adventure across both a parallel human world and the intricately detailed Digital World, which is filled with interactive elements and special quests to discover.
- Extensive Post-Launch Content: The Season Pass adds new trainable Digimon and special episodes that weave together encounters across time and space, with content being distributed through September 2026
Deluxe & Ultimate Editions
In addition to the Standard Edition, two expanded versions of the game are available:
Deluxe Edition: Includes the base game, the full Season Pass, and a bonus “Costume Cyber Sleuth Set”.
Ultimate Edition: Includes everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus multiple extra costume packs, a Cyber Sleuth BGM pack, and an early unlock for a special Agumon & Gabumon.
